| Lillehammer Hostel and train station |
For the second year I flew to Oslo, Norway, took the train to Lillehammer and spent a week skiing on the trails of the original Birkebeiner! Staying in the Lillehammer hostel above the train station was a good choice for easy access to the bus to Sjusjoen ski area about 30 minutes out of town.
The weather this year was quite cloudy and cold compared to the milder sunny days in 2025. The cooler temperatures made finding a latte and waffle more inviting!
