I am booked to fly to Oslo Friday, May 15 and arrive Saturday afternoon, staying at the Haraldsheim Hostel. The next day is the National Independence day celebrations which I am looking forward to.
So, I really need to get on my bike and ride a lot before Norway. I have put a rack on the Rocky Mountain Blizzard, and pedaled around Edmonton in preparation. Stew and I cycled 45 km last weekend, and today did 60 km with the Edmonton Bike and Touring club "spring classic" around Lac St. Anne.
Time is flying and just shy of 4 weeks until I leave. Lots of leg work yet to go and packing. I have heard from both Knut in Sogndal and Benjamin who is in Kamloops but will meet me in Tau in south Norway. Knut wants to take me skiing for a few days which I am keen to do.
